Have you never seen hand-tied flies? Some of them are amazing. It's an artform.

I got my Prisms at Bass Pro Shops - not the same color (it's silver holographic), but I have several lifetime's supply of it, at a bargain price. Actually, I may have mentioned it before - they have a lot of "our" fibers in the fly-tying department. Color choices are limited, but prices are fantastic. Besides Prisms, I've gotten velvets in several sizes, angora, meatllics, Estasz, nifty feathers - all sorts of fun goodies.

Jane, bunny butts are supposed to be big & round, and I like yours very much. The fuzzing helps a lot with smoothing things out. I've seen & passed on these "ornament reflection" canvases because I couldn't figure out what to do with them, colorwise. Smacking my forehead.

I will use stem stitches to round the shoulder out on top of the brick stitches, K.B.  Just haven't gotten to it yet as the last few nights I've been working on my Day of the Dead lady.  The current section will take 2-3 more days.  Guess I'd better get busy stitching right now on it!

So cute! How did I miss that last night? I like the after better--his body and his head seem to be attached now. But I wonder if a slanted gobelin to round his shoulder some.
