He is a cutie, Ruth. I like the moon and the background stitch you used the best but those coiled and smooth orbs are very pretty and a nice contrast to the rough texture of the owl, the tree bark, etc. I think you did an amazing job.
What is the wing thread? I was wondering how you would do that with respect with the rest of the owl. Too clever!
He's a very 70s looking owl. (Anybody else remember making macrame owls?)
Good Morning. Glad you think he's as cute as I do. It's never really too late to join the fun. You can always have us kit him up and send him you way, Christina. He flies really fast.
He is a charmer. Who, other than you, Ruth, would have thought of chenille for the wings? My favorite part are all the little stitches that give the moon, tree, leaves, and white orbs so much texture.
He looks so great!! I always regret not signing up for these!
