Judy-at fusion they are not called montees....but they do have them check link above!
Comment by Judy Gartman on February 13, 2013 at 5:29pm Oops! The Montees at Fusion are a different animal. They are set and have holes in the back of the setting like a button, I guess. Sorry
Comment by Kelly Ann Clark on February 13, 2013 at 4:23pm Oh Cool! Thanks Judy Gartman! I did not know about Fusion Beads...I have had numerous inquiries...and
will play it forward.
Comment by Kelly Ann Clark on February 13, 2013 at 4:19pm Oh HOORAY! I did an entire firecracker on a plane trip once! They go uber-fast! :~)
Comment by palma seljan on February 13, 2013 at 4:16pm thank you Kelly. By the way, started working on the first Firecracker :)
Comment by Judy Gartman on February 13, 2013 at 4:06pm I see that Fusion beads have them. I love these!
Comment by Kelly Ann Clark on February 13, 2013 at 4:04pm Hey Palma-They are sew-on...flat back, 1 hole in dead center of crystal. In order to attach, a secondary bead or knot is needed.
Comment by palma seljan on February 13, 2013 at 3:41pm are they sew on or the kind tht needs to be gkued?
Comment by Kelly Ann Clark on February 13, 2013 at 11:59am Thanks gals! Actually, although they appear to be sequins in the photo, they are Swarovski Crystal Montees.
The Montee cut has a flat back and is basically half of a Bi-cone. I was a bit worried that they would 'overwhelm'...but they really look very nice and super 'twinkly' in person!
