Love it so far. I'm waiting to see what you do to make the weird parts (chicken feet & the wattle) look like...well, what they are, but less weird. Are you going to use some real feathers for his magnificent tail?

Personally, I liked the towel and apron.  The bowl is very pretty but doing fabrics I find hard so I was impressed by those bits.  Nice job.

What you have stitched is fantastic. Love the bowl in addition to the background.

It's been on my some day list for so long that I'm not sure I'll ever get around to making it.  Some things are more fun to desire than to accomplish. :) Actually, I tend to really enjoy throwing fabrics together and hoping for the best. Tumbling blocks require a bit more planning. So I would need to be in a thinking mood.

I know Karen I've been waiting to see what our shop owner ordered from market. A tumbling block quilt would be beautiful so get cracking!

Everything looks great. I especially love the tumbling blocks background. Some day I'll make a tumbling blocks quilt. I've always loved them. Looks like you need to start hunting for another canvas. This one won't last the rest of the month. :)

Yes that is the canvas. I've had my eye on him for quite some time and finally decided to stitch him. I do have a rooster fetish and he fits right in!

And so is the bowl and the apron!  Both wonderful. Are you using memory thread for the whip? Who is the designer of this?  BTW I just saw this on Annie's website: http://www.annieandco.com/pages/gallery-needlepoint
