I have not been to Needle Nicely yet. But I sent her a note asking her if she'd kit it up and send it to me so I can stitch along. (I'd better print out the blog posts just to be safe, because I'm sure I'll be way way behind.) If I had just seen the canvas, I would have said, "ah nice but no thanks." But I love the way her stitches are bringing it to life.

I've stopped asking Kathy to look into any designer she doesn't currently stock. Nevermind the fact that she wouldn't have to stock the canvases. She makes you pay in full before she places any special order. And the folks at the Needle Nook seem very nice, so if I decide that I definitely want some of the santas, I'll order them tomorrow before the trunk show ends.

Cindy, I'd never heard of the designer before I saw the adorable It's All About the Shoes class advertised. The canvas is beautifully painted. I hope some shops here start picking these canvases up.
