"Margaret- Did you recently post a picture of this piece back from the finishers?  I am trying to find that picture. Can you post it again, or e-mail it to me?   thedesigner@kellyclarkneedlepoint.com THANKS!  Kelly"

"I just got my canvas today.  I got the Witch and Cauldron--the one where the witch faces away from us and is stirring up a brew.  It was hard to choose but it is too funny to see her "butt" sticking out as she stirs."

"That sounds cool.  I have never heard of such a thing.  Is it wood or do they do something in a "mold" with acrylic? Do you send the needlepoint piece off to them and they do the whole thing?  Now I am really curious."

"Even more frustrating is when they give you the 12 hour window and they don't come till about 4 hours after that.  Years ago in Houston we had Time Warner cable.  They always gave you a window like that and an "on time…"

"Yes, Karen. I loved this pear canvas. I kept waiting for Ruth's glitz. Then, the needlepoint gods shortened the course. Next, the techno gods didn't allow the final posting. I feel like this has been a comedy of errors. Hopefully,…"

Thank you for the "friend" invitation.  Isn't it funny that so many medical types gravitate toward needlework for relaxation?  (I'm a retired ICU/CCU nurse.)  I noticed Palma's comment about taking too long to stitch people up - we could do some pretty fancy stuff, couldn't we?

This is funny, we all have a story. I was going into pediatrics but then my father had an MI, actually 3, one after the other. I was so terrified he was going to die on me one day I started paying close attention to cardiology classes and ended up enjoying it a lot. But true to my initial aspirations I did both, adult and pediatric cardiology

Sorry, back too soon. Found Margaret's specialty (pediatrician) but most interestingly found out that Kate lives in Princeton. Hi Kate, I work in Princeton, so for some hours from Monday through Friday we're "neighbors". Such a small world

Hi Margaret and Kate, I think we have a reunion. Couldn;t find Margaret's specialty but I am a cardiologist. I guess I didn't go into surgery because I would take very long to stitch people up. Good to meet you here.

hi Margaret---nice to "meet" a fellow needlepointer who is also a physician...:)  I am a psychiatrist who works in the college setting.....I find needlepoint to be a wonderful form of relaxation after "listening" all day...

Warm Regards,

Kate
