Don't Forget the Crystals!

Well, I can't really talk about rhinestones and leave out crystals, can I? There are crystal rhinestones of course, but I mean specifically crystal beads. Attachments Part Three-- Rhinestones!

For a while, rhinestones seemed to be just as overlooked as sequins for needlepoint embellishing.  I've always tried to include them not only because I love sparkle, but I also bead as a hobby so I have lots & lots of rhinestones, both sew-ons and the pointy-backed kind.  So the sew-on type naturally made the move on over to my canvases.  The colors and finishes on this type were and continue to be sort of limited, but happily, mostly due to the overall sparkle trend that has come to home… Continue
